After The Winter
There is nothing quite like the sight
Of a redbud in the spring
And a harbinger robin beneath its bough,
With his melodies to sing!
Spring comes on, like a marathon,
A race of colors for the eye…
Daffodils, hyacinths and tulips all will vie.
Like a rainbowed arch of hope
With a promise for our soul,
Spring bursts forth upon our world,
God's wonders to extol!
