Celtic Heartbeat

Can you feel the heartbeat,
Pulsing deep within?
Can you hear the bodhran
A-chantin' Gaelic hymns?
Beating in the mornin'
Again at setting sun,
Joining pipes and voices
When the day is done.
Rappin' on the goatskin,
With knuckles old and worn,
Lending feet a-tappin'
And conjurin' a storm!
With twists and turns to capture,
Like a Celtic knot,
My soul does feel the rapture
Of the piper's thought…
Uilleann pipes a' beggin'
Come and join the throng…
Come and feel the heartbeat
Of my Celtic song!
